CABIN FEVER

Cabin Fever.jpeg

I'm at work.  Got in at 5:30 this morning.  It's 8:15, and I feel like I'm in a pressure cooker - not from the stress, but the utter absence of it.  I wrapped my day up at 6:30 (I’ve automated what was previously a full day’s work for my team, so that a single person can complete it in an hour,) snagged a cup of coffee, and walked a mile around campus.  Returned to my desk around 7:00 and cruised the internet for about an hour.  Cabin fever is officially boring into my brain, and I'm clawing at the walls.  It's not that I need to get outside in particular, just out of here.  There has to be something different out there for me to do with my life than provide financial services for a broken system designed to cater to the eighty-five folks in existence I'd least like to serve.
